Homemade Georgetown Cupcakes!

I LOVE Georgetown Cupcakes. I had them at my bar mitzvah, they give out free cupcakes everyday, and they are all around delicious. However, I don't like waiting in line for them and you don't have to anymore. Georgetown Cupcake released their red velvet recipe earlier this year and I decided to try it out. Here is the link to the recipe. There is also an accompanying video for the recipe. I found they needed to bake longer than 20 mins. Also for more flavor, I used vanilla sugar in the batter and vanilla bean in the frosting. The cupcakes really taste exactly like the real thing! To frost, I used my wilton 1A tip.
